Feminism Is Not About Hating Men

Feminists are anti-men. Feminism is only a fad. Feminism means women think they are better than men.
These are just some of the inaccurate notions that w riter and feminist, Shreyasi Bose , is trying to correct through a recently-released series of posters. The seemingly plain posters address various prejudices that all feminists have to face. From being called 'man haters; to the terribly offensive term 'feminazis,' women who believe in gender equality are regularly told they're asking for too much. And that they're legitimate “threats to society.”
Here are nine misconceptions dismissed in nine powerful posters.

Will these posters change the Indian notion of feminism? Probably not at once. But we hope they ignite a doubt, or two, in the minds of those who still equate feminists with irrational man haters.
